Ph. D in science / engineering , ( Physics, Chemistry,
Mechanical / Chemical / Electronics / Telecommunication/
Computer Science / Metallurgical / Materials engineering
disciplines) with a minimum of 12 years experience (after
obtaining Master's degree) in reputed r&d institutions or
universities in areas relevant to the research domains and
topics mentioned above. (M Tech with outstanding and relevant
work experience and / or high quality research publications can
also be considered).

- Essential attributes of the successful applicant will be

- outstanding academic record as well as track
record as a researcher borne out by high quality
publications, patents, authorship of books, key
technical role assumed in major design and
development Programmes etc. and
- excellent research aptitude and keen desire to
pursue a career in science and technology in India

- Experience and demonstrated success in leading research
teams will be an added advantage; High quality scientific
communication skills will be highly desirable.
